Starting digital art or not ?

I'm thinking about buying a drawing tablet (a cheap one probably a used one) but the idea of digital art is kinda intimidating , i'm not even good at traditional , plus i hear it takes a while to get used to drawing digitally !
to do something new or stick to what i'm good at (not good really more like not awful !)
